Whey

The special lacto-intensive active complex is the base of most of our medical skin care products. This is high-quality organic whey (sour whey from certified Demeter organic farms in southern Germany), wich is produced through a carefully controlled fermentation process using lactic acid bacteria. The milk proteins and milk sugar are broken down into amino acids, lactic acid and its salts. The lacto-intensive active complex coats the skin with a protective layer and buffers pH fluctuations. It is combined with high-quality plant oils and highly concentrated plant extracts in some of our cleansing and care products - the result is a more vitalised and perfectly nourished skin.

Similarity to natural skin condition

The lacto-intensive active complex contains many ingredients which can be found in a very similar composition in the natural skin milieu: whey proteins and amino acids, lactic acid and its salts, minerals, trace elements, carbohydrates and vitamins. Thus, already the base of the products is compliant with the skin and very well tolerated. It causes a normalisation of the skin flora and the acid mantle. Natural lactic acid, essential amino acids, trace elements etc. are well absorbed by the skin and normalise the skin's moisture level.

Shampoo dry and scaly scalp

Mild cleansing of hair especially in case of dry scalp. A sebum production of the scalp which is disturbed often leads to dry scalp. The consequences are itchiness, flaky parts or small dry dandruff. This special skin problem might also occur as a secondary symptom for example in the case of neurodermatitis and psoriasis.The special lacto-intensive active complex in the Shampoo dry and scaly scalp helps to regenerate and calm the scalp so that itchiness is reduced. Vegetable moisturizing agents take care of the scalp and provide lipids. Mild washing active substances gently clean the hair and give volume without drying out the skin.Tip: For ideal additional care of dry scalp, we recommend the Serum for dry and scaly scalp after hair washing. For soap free cleansing of face and body with skin-neutral pH value of 5.5. Mild vegetable substances in the Wash lotion face & body no.12 gently clean the skin without soap. The special lacto-intensive active complex has a normalising effect and cares for the skin at the same time. The skin neutral pH value of 5.5 preserves the skin's acid mantle and has a considerably positive and regulating effect also in case of oily facial skin (puberty).The dispenser of 300 ml is ideal to be used at the washbasin or in the shower. Anti-redness face cream no.48

Therapy-related care in case of rosacea and couperose - without alcohol. Redness on the face is usually a result of vascular dilatation for example as a reaction to cold temperatures. However, redness might also be permanent or symptoms of a skin condition such as rosacea or couperose. Precious vegetable oils and special active ingredients like cardiospermum calm facial skin in our Anti-redness face cream no.48 which is without alcohol. Purple red algae extract calms redness which is caused by vascular dilatation. Due to the hygienic packaging, no air can get inside the airless dispenser. The content is particularly well protected and can be removed completely. To activate the airless system, pump vigorously several times at the beginning until the cream gets out. In case of extremely dry skin, neurodermatitis and psoriasis, the content of urea is reduced considerably, meaning the skin cannot absorb as much moisture as healthy skin can do. In case of extremely dry skin, neurodermatitis and psoriasis, the amount of urea on the skin is considerably reduced, so the skin cannot bind as much moisture as healthy skin can do. Thus the Lotion 10 % urea no.6 gives the skin the missing share of urea and cares intensively with the special lacto-intensive active complex. Jojoba oil - which has similar characteristics like the human sebum - strengthens this effect. It has skin softening properties and a strong ability to maintain moisture. Mild and gentle cleaning for face and body. Sensitive skin has to be cleansed particularly gently and at the same time cared for while washing. Our soap-free Cleansing milk no.10 contains mild surfactants and additional lipids which prevent the skin from strong defatting by cleaning. Therefore, it is very well suitable for dry to very dry skin and for irritated skin (e. g. in case of neurodermatitis or psoriasis. Panthenol increases the skin's ability to keep moisture and soothes skin irritations.
